Welcome to Hic Dragones!

We are a creative writing, literature and film organization based in Manchester UK. Our ethos is intelligent, but a bit weird. Our interests are monsters, horror, dark fiction and the strange.

In 2011, we launched our publishing initiative with a poetry collection. In 2012, we'll be publishing two anthologies of new short stories. To find out about submissions and titles, click on the 'Publishing' tab.

For fans of horror and mystery, we also have our own range of Murder Mystery Party Games. Our games are designed with true mystery fans in mind, so will give your little grey cells a proper workout. Choose from the 'Mystery' range for classic whodunnits, or the 'Horror' range for a more chilling night in. You won't find any cheesy puns or corny lines in our games - instead we offer perplexing puzzles and genuine head-scratchers that will keep you and your guests guessing.
